So who is this 26-pound ball of puff?
Latte was born in Germany on December 29, 2015. She then move to South Korea in 2017. After spending time in Europe and Asia, she decided to become an American citizen. In February 2019, she moved to St. Louis where she has been ever since.
She loves to play and needs lots of attention. She makes all kinds of funny noises and her facial expressions are the best. She will not bite, even if you put your hand in her mouth; not aggressive at all. Overall, Latte is a great, easy dog.
Latte knows her name. She knows all the basics: sit, stay/wait, no, stop, out, off, down, come, eat. You might have to repeat a couple times, but she’s generally cooperative.
We let her out multiple times a day. As long as she poops once a day, she is fine. Feel free to take her on as many walks as you would like. 15-20 minutes is about her max in the afternoon heat.
Tell her “go potty” or “go poop” a few times to speed up the process as needed. You might have to wipe her butt after a poo because she’s a white dog and it is sometimes messy. She’s pretty good at telling you if she needs to go out. It’s common that she’ll want to go out again around 8:30-9PM. After that, you can just tell her no. She has never made a mess in the house.
Latte has skin allergies, which are very common with Frenchies. There is an ointment in her pink bag that can be applied as needed. We usually do it at night before bed. She is very used to it and will cooperate by saying “roll over” to let you apply to her affected areas.
